Rehabilitation Services Program

Awards

The Rehabilitation Services Program annually recognizes two students for academic achievement and community service.  Students in the program nominate and vote on who they feel is deserving of these awards.  At the end of the fall semester, these students are recognized with a plaque at the Rehabilitation Services Program lunch.

Academic Achievement Award

This award is not given to someone who has maintained a high grade point average and academic transcript throughout their college career.  Instead, this award recognizes someone that has grown academically.  Generally this award is given to someone that has had a difficult transition into college or within a different program on campus, but has overcome any obstacles and has excelled in the Rehabilitation Services Program.

Community Services Award
This award recognizes a student that has performed some type of community service since starting the Rehabilitation Services Program.  The service recognized will have bettered the program or the UMF campus.
